I mean, fuckin' Dropkick Murphys have a fiddler and Mägo de Oz does like the absolute weirdest blend of violin and metal that I've ever heard.

I know violin and fiddle aren't the same but it super wouldn't be out of place, is what I'm saying. You can do both. Maybe not live, but that's what studio magic is for.
