I don't mean to sound ungrateful, you know. When I say the reasons don't matter to me, it's more because the important thing is that the sentiment was expressed at all. People don't care why someone else is being kind to them, they just perceive that they are. Things like that.

I really do appreciate the sentiment, no matter why it's being expressed. I still don't think I'm that important in the scheme of things, but some of us are here to support the ones that are.
