"Yeah, thanks for letting me rot in jail." He says it with a grin and the dryest tone of voice he can muster. He knows Togusa is right, that letting him deal with his consequences in prison was the right thing to do. It was what he wanted and needed. It's just funny to hear that, of all things, be called helping.
