Lillian didn't pull away, but she did flinch when Anna's fingers touched hers. The first time anyone else had touched her new hands, it was...something. Warmer than she had expected. Did that mean she was colder now? She'd never had cold hands before, that was kind of a downer.

The thought almost made her laugh it was so ridiculous. Her hands weren't cold, they were metal. At least she could still feel with them, Anna's hand felt almost normal. A little different but...

Well, it helped that she just liked holding hands with the taller girl, probably.

She was quiet for longer than she meant to be, lost in those thoughts, and almost missed what the other was saying. "Uh..." She didn't really know what to say either.

"...Thanks for not freaking out." She finally decided on. If anyone wasn't going to, it was Anna, but still. "Guess they feel pretty weird huh."
