Lillian smiled at that, but it was a thin, sad sort of smile. She'd lost a few people to that, no one she had been dating, but friends who just...didn't remember so much. Too much, in a lot of ways.

"Maybe ya weren't. But you're allowed to be sad anyway, cause who knows what might've been, huh?" She let out a slow breath through her nose, looking in the direction Anna was, but only for a moment before back to the taller girl.

"Sometimes I think that retrospec is amazin', and other times...other times it don't seem like anythin' but cruel." Still hanging back a little, arms behind her back, not quite relaxed like she usually was.
