"Fuck no, dude," she said once they were out of earshot of everyone. It still felt so weird, being emotionally honest with people—least of all people, she had to constantly remind herself, who were so much younger than her and had so much other crap going on in their lives. She needed to get her entire all of her together and stop leaning on people with their own everything.
