And, sliding into his thoughts as seamlessly as the strange feeling did, he remembers that--yes, that's right. This is how it's supposed to go. He remembers now, sitting down in a chair and having a helmet placed over him, and after some treatment, he felt just the same. They've changed the way they deliver the treatment, it seems, but the end result is identical: all his mental panic and fears and discomfort melting away. These doctors are here to help him, they always have been, and it was silly of him to ever think otherwise. He appreciates the return to routine.
