[ Tsukasa's prompt list is here! As noted at the top, I don't mind doubling up or anything like that. He frequents Palettes (an art shop) and works part-time at the stables, so it's possible to catch him at either place for tasks. ]

[ With all the reorganizing done to Freshens (and, really, a few other stores people thought it might be cute to do it to despite the task not mentioning them), Tsukasa's decided that... Yeah. The "help someone with groceries" task probably isn't a terrible one to offer to people.

So he can be found wearing some pretty blue jewelry (thanks Respartum, we knew thee well) to keep the heat off of him as he stands outside of grocery stores, looking nervous but holding out a hand to stop you anyway— ]

Please allow me to help you! Um, I mean... [ uh. ] If— if you want it. Or need it. Or, um... People have been taking these tasks pretty seriously so, um, things are sort of really moved around and...

𝄡 PORTRAITURE: APPRASSAGE

[ Given his upbringing with a more fast-and-loose style of watercolor (though he still adheres to traditional ways as well), it's... not much of a surprise that he'd have a different view of self-portraits, too. When he isn't dealing with school or work, he can be found in various places in Apprassage, having set up a small paint station. There's acrylics, there's watercolors, there's chalk and colored pencils and charcoal and... It's very mixed media up in here, let's say that. Did he blow his allowance on art materials? Yes, thank goodness for discounts from Izumi though—

There's also a sign that reads:
1. Art is subjective, and a self-portrait can be of yourself or things you think represent yourself. Take this task whichever way you want.
2. Treat each other and yourselves nicely. This isn't a competition for who can draw or paint the best, this is about expressing yourself.
3. Please don't get mad at whatever analyses may come out of this.

Tsukasa himself will be painting too, though those who see him around a lot and in different places will notice it's... always the same painting, actually: a field of red spider lilies, overlooking a city. ]

There's nothing quite like beating summer depression over getting grounded for your sudden change in hair color and then suddenly losing a chunk of people you usually talk to to some weird layers bullshit by spending it with your loved ones.

...That's the horses today, some of them actually painted decently colors and some of them with flecks of others. There's a few chocobos too—the ones who don't get weird around other animals, similar to the horses he picked—lined up, in similar painted fashion. Tsukasa sets his hands on his hips, smile a little forced— ]

From left to right, it's Mrs. Marple and Pollyanna for the horses, and for the chocobos, it's Rhapsody and Squawkens. Which one do you want to learn to ride first~? They're all very gentle and well-behaved with novices, so there's not a wrong choice~.

This is a difficult task, actually, for someone who doesn't really go to markets like this. The fact there's not really anyone who's going to buy stuff aside from other Retrospec users too makes it harder? Like, there's a handful over two hundred of them tops, and there's still disembodied voice chatter to make it lively despite how... empty... this place looks.

Are we really expected to do business like this...? [ please...... ] Who on Retrospec really frequents markets like this anyway?

He knows his brother's a punk, and he... knows he came home with the police once—he remembers the argument, after all, even if everyone thought he hadn't heard—so without a doubt, Leo has something to talk about. Even small things probably work, and Tsukasa's trying to think of his own as he licks hsi ice cream.

...In my memories, I went behind my senpai's backs and challenged another unit to a duel~? Mmm, I don't know if that counts for this, though.

...chess is not really his duel of choice, but he's someone who does learn by doing, so why not learn how to play while doing this??? but every duel needs to be thrown down properly, so—

he's handing sena a letter of engagement. not marriage engagement, duel engagement. all it basically says is "sena-senpai please duel me in a game of chess" and there's doodles of flowers around the edges because someone can't fucking stop drawing on every piece of paper he owns. ]

I know I don't really know how to play that well, but I looked up a few things so you wouldn't have to teach me too much... senpai.

Why'd you challenge them?

[procuring alcohol has never been easier with his past birthday, but he still makes sure to gets something tsuka'll like... or rather, he's got a cooler with a few things to try, and he gives tsukasa a wave when he sees him waiting so patiently.]

[ He can see how happy Tsukasa is with the horses and chocobos and it makes him happy too. Honestly though, those flecks of stray paint reminds him of that one cartoon pony show. He didn't think he'd ever see anything like that in real life.

... Also, how did the name happen?

...Knights did something terrible during a competition, and lost on top of that. I... He wanted... not necessarily to atone for it, but to challenge them honorably and win honorably, as a way to mark a new path for Knights. To prove they were turning over a new leaf, essentially... For Knights to rise from the ashes.

Well... He's a very noisy bird. He's in love with the moon, so he always tries to serenade it when he sees it? Or so I was told. [ Hence: Squawkens. ] It's sort of cute, right...? So for his birthday last year, I gave him a bucket of water with the moon reflected in it so he could spend the night with it.

Probably. But kids are allowed to do things like that, Tsuka, so take a page out of his book sometime and do something cheeky. No one'll mind it when you're young.

I hope it does but I don't want to have to answer to my mom for it. You're right though, this feels bad. I guess it beats the alternative but I'm still not really sold on it.

[ He leans forward to pick up a carton, opening it to check for broken ones as if that matters. ]

leo's face doesn't exactly fall, but it definitely tightens up in a way that's familiar in their family. the sort of face one makes when they don't want to say something. he eat his ice cream, getting it to a manageable point to stall.]
