...In a way. I was an only child, and after my parents died, I lived with my mother's sister and her husband for a time... I had a few cousins there. I've stayed with grandparents on both sides before I was officially herded more towards to my father's side and passed around great-aunts and uncles and blood relations and this and that... His side of the family is quite far-removed from the one I'm on, since at some point, I simply began passing through people whose only relations to the Velveteens and their most far-reaching kin were by marriage of some sort.

I met most of my relatives through socials and such growing up, finding out who I'd be staying with next at nearly the same time... but I haven't moved from here in a little over a year, and my uncle doesn't seem keen on letting anymore of our family shuffle me about.
