WHAT: Jirou has plans to make for his wedding! That means seeing what things he might want at it!
WARNINGS: Drunkenness and cuteness mostly... It's Jirou.

Jirou Hirata was officially engaged. A city hero too since he'd been awarded with a medal but that wasn't something he particularly cared about. It had been the right thing to do obviously. Besides, he was a sword and he was just accepting that it meant he was meant to be used for battles sometimes. Not a big deal to him really.

So after all that he was doing what he really cared about. Preparing for his future wedding.

That meant going out to various shops to see what would please him for that. One had to start looking into these things right away so they'd be prepared by the wedding, after all! That was just common sense! Sure sometimes he had his mom or Fai with him but for the most part he just sort of wandered into shops to poke around.

This meant one could usually find a fashionably dressed model with a cute white pomeranian head poking out from a purse. Sometimes he dressed like a woman and other times he dressed like a man. It all depended on what kind of mood Jirou happened to be in. Whatever the case was there were usually well dressed Japanese men with him, clearly bodyguards.

Perhaps one would run into him at a bakery tasting some of the sweets to be found there. Or maybe at a florist where he was figuring out what flowers were available for sale. Or even just normal shopping for new outfits. He would have parties to attend to celebrate this, you know!

Don't mind the bodyguards. Jirou was more than friendly and definitely very drunk as he took sips from the large sake jug he carried with him everywhere...

[ooc: Pick a shop to run into him or run into him on the streets! Jirou will be out and about to find places for various things to do with his future wedding! If you'd like your character to be someone he approaches to help him out then feel free! There are lots of slots to fill for places at the parties, wedding, and reception!]

[Amanda had given him complete freedom when it came to planning her birthday cake, so Derek was going to do just that. He's sister's 18th birthday was going to be a momentous occasion so that cake needed to match said event. Upon entering the bakery he sees a familiar face tasting different cake samples.]

Jirou! Already into wedding planning I see!

Derry! Try this one!

[He immediately comes over and holds a bite of chocolate cake in front of his lips with his fingers.]

It's really yummy!

[ Mio is definitely alone herself -- well, until Jirou (and those bodyguards?? wow) showed up -- at the florist, since she's here for rather important reasons. Flowers are rather important, after all, but: ]

Um, are you okay...? [ Should she be concerned because of the sake and bodyguards. ]

Struck by inspiration after visiting one of the newly opened cities to the them, Yogi decided he wanted more flowers around the house. Now he realized it was a bit of a responsibility, but he wanted to try! He had been so inspired by what he saw in Bosuma, and if he could have even a little bit of that in his apartment it would be well worth it.

He had an armful of bright, colorful blooms when he saw Jirou, gasping at the sight, his heart fluttering in excitement as he wondered if Jirou would remember him at all.

"Jirou!" he chirped, waving a bit while keeping hold of his flowers. "It's really nice to see you again!"

[Derek's head jolts back a bit when the piece of cake comes up to his mouth. Sorry Jirou, the last person who fed him like that was his ex and that just makes this more awkward for him. Though, Derek tries his best to recover and quickly plucks the piece of cake out from Jirou's outstretched hand. Popping it in his mouth he chews and nods in agreement.]

Yes, it is good. Is this the flavor you're going with? A little plain isn't it? Or do you have simple cake tastes?

Hm? Oh you think this is for the wedding cake?

[He laughs and waves his hand as he plops himself down in the chair again, waving for Derek to come join him.]

No, I think I might ask Suzu if she wants to make the cake. Or Chefy. I'm looking for some party treats right now.

[He tries another bite of the cake.]

My wedding cake should be sake flavored.

[Jirou pauses in a sip of his drink to look at who is speaking to her. A super cute girl from the looks of it. He's over a foot taller than her but he just smiles rather than use that height to act intimidating.]

Me?

[Seriously is she talking to him? Why be worried about him?]

Jirou heard someone talking to him and looked over, lifting his sunglasses onto his head. Oh this was that cutie he met the one time. He smiled at him and waved his fingers, then nodded to the bodyguards to let them know this person was okay. The bodyguards were a new thing but Jirou's friendly nature was the same as ever.

"Hiiii! You're that adorable design student I met the other time right? Yo... YoYo! That's right!"

Apparently the nickname was a new addition too.

The big men, while a new addition, weren’t necessarily alarming. Jirou was a model and the son of a famous designer. Of course he would have some personal security! Yes, that was it. Nothing else possibly sprang to Yogi’s mind.

He pinked at the nickname and laughed. “It’s Yogi but I like Yoyo!” No, he really did. It felt kind of cool to have a nickname Grimm Jirou!

“What are you shopping for flowers for?” He inquired, thinking that Jirou looked very pretty among all the blooms. No wonder he was the Hirata model!

"No. I remembered right. I named you YoYo in my head."

End of story. That was his name now. Jirou had already moved onto flowers and why he was here.

"I was checking out places for my wedding. And for the parties for my wedding. Things like that!"

[Why is Yasusada here. Why is he the one helping Jirou shop for clothes. WHAT HAS HE DONE TO DESERVE THIS--

--okay, no, he doesn't mind. He'd been completely truthful when he'd told Jirou he had no clue what was cute or fashionable, but this is all part of the celebration. For Jirou and Kenta's sake, he'll be happy to trot along and help out however he can, whether it's carrying bags or offering his (woefully uneducated) opinions. As long as he doesn't have to try on any cat shoes, or whatever they are, it's fine.

(Having the dog around doesn't hurt either. WHAT A GOOD DOG.)

Anyway, while his sense of style might be tragically lacking, he is dating a fashion designer--so even though they've gone through several shops already, he doesn't complain, simply smiling at Jirou and adjusting the large sleeves of his brand new haori as they go.]

[Derek grabs one of the cake books and starts flipping through it absentmindedly.]

Oh... well, he's not entirely sure how to feel about that, but based on their last encounter he had the feeling that Jirou was not to easily dissuaded from something. Besides, it wasn't to bad a nickname. Yoyos were fun.

"A wedding? You're getting married? Congratulations!" Yogi let out a squeal of pure, sincere delight, his eyes lighting up. "Oh that's so exciting!"

[When Kenta finally gets in, followed by a couple of bodyguards himself, he quickly shuts down his phone and goes to grab Jirou's waist and kiss him on the cheek.]

Sorry I'm late. Did you see anything you liked?

[Kashuu himself has stopped by a florist! Owned by a friend who used to be on the network and no longer remembers Retrospec, it's not a place he goes out of his way to visit, but it does have the best floral arrangements.

He looks up from a particularly large and fancy bouquet when he hears the door open, and while he initially smiles upon recognizing Jirou, it quickly turns into a look of mild amusement as a whole squad of bodyguards just kinda tromps on in after him. Ah, that celeb life...]

Wow, the whole entourage is out today, huh?

Oh! Cake pops are a great idea!

[He waves for help to order some cake pops to try out.]

"I got engaged on Valentine's! We haven't set a date yet but I still need to look up places for all the things I need!"

Like flowers. Which was why he was here now.

"Parties to celebrate things need pretty things too, after all!"

[They're kitten heels. Geez, Yams.

Anyway, he's very happy to have a friend along with him and even happier that Yams is being very patient with him and even offering opinions even if he doesn't understand fashion. Maybe they bicker a lot about this stuff but this is a sign of what good friends they are that Yams will come through for him like this.]

I liked that dress but I feel like it just wasn't right...

[Says the guy who bought it anyway.]

[He gives him a kiss then wraps his arms around his shoulders. He really has never cared what anyone thinks about how affectionate he is.]

Hm? Oh the boys started thinking I need more protection since Kenta and I got engaged.

[He laughs and waves his hand. It's no big deal to him. Honestly he thinks it's unnecessary but he's not about to discourage them either.]

I think they make me look even better though so I don't mind!

[Derek chuckles at Jirou's comment. He should hang out with Jirou more often. His compliments does wonders for Derek's ego.]

You know what would be an even better idea? I heard in Japanese cuisine there is a dish called fried octopus balls, I'm not sure the Japanese word for it, but what if you had cake pops at your wedding that looked like these octopus balls but they were actually cake pops?

[Derek is still flipping though the book and sighs.]

Jirou, I feel like you would understand the mind of a teenage girl better than me. My sister's birthday is on the 17th and I need to find her the perfect birthday cake. She's turning 18 and I'm having trouble choosing. What do you think?

[Derek shows Jirou the book and shows him five different cakes. Cake 1, Cake 2, Cake 3, and Cakes 4 and 5.]

To be honest, I think the three tier is a bit much. It's going to be a small party.

I think I'd like some red. It's a color for good luck. I know white is traditional in the states, and we do it too now, but it's still more of a funeral color, so maybe if we mix the two it would be okay?

That said, he looks a tiny bit surprised (very, very tiny - it's not that surprising, after all) since he totally missed the engagement announcement in all the hullabaloo in February.]
