Probably but if people wanted a picture that looked exactly like them they'd just take a photo, you know? That's art too but it's a different kind. For something like what you're doing, I think a little adjusting is probably OK. what is it about daisies you don't like? They're so all over the place they seem like they should be easy... ohhh, but if you're better when stuff is symmetrical then that makes sense, too, huh? [ A symmetrical daisy is bound to look wrong, after all. ]

And uh, I dunno, I guess I kinda like water lilies? They're pretty, and I like how they grow from the mud up... through the water... toward the sunlight.
