[He pauses a little bit and looks up at the ceiling.]

You know, I may not be the right person to ask about dealing with people judging you. I've been judged by people my entire life. I'm too effeminate. I'm too gay. I'm too drunk. I'm too flighty. I'm too...so many thing. When I was first called a name when I was little for deciding I wanted to wear a tiara to school I realized that I didn't see why the judgments had to mean anything to me. People were always either going to like or dislike what I did and that would be that.

[He slides his gaze over to him.]

Honestly I think that this is between you and this girl. If it really feels right then it doesn't matter what the world thinks. If you're still feeling like you'll be bothered by the world judging you then you're not ready to move on just yet. Which is okay. It seems like it really hurt you to lose the other girl.

[Resting a hand on his shoulder, he smiles at him.]

But even if you don't date her why not at least work on continuing to know her better? That way you're taking your time and you're making sure things are right for the both of you. If it's worth it then it doesn't matter if there is a risk with the app.

[And he shrugs.]

That's what I think anyway. I know I kind of just do my own thing all the time and it frustrates people sometimes.
