[He counts down, slowly, hoping to give her enough time to prepare, rearing his arm back with the talisman in hand to be able to toss it quickly in the air when the time came. As he hits 'three', he can almost feel the protective barrier around them drop, and he flings the slip of paper in front of him, fast as he can. He slams his sword against it, the words effortlessly spilling from his lips:]
Obey thy command! God of Thunder, come forth!
[The electricity leaps from the talisman and towards the rushing bull, converging around it with a loud clap. The creature lets out a deafening roar and stumbles forward, momentarily stunned by the current coursing through it's body, and Xiaolang can't help but take in a shakey gasp of air. It wasn't the first time he used the technique, but it still left him a little weak, a little drained, for reasons he didn't entirely know.
Sakura was moving quickly, though, already chucking the gems at the beast as it laid immobile, the spidery frost of the broken jewel crawling up it's side. Regaining some of his bearings, Xiaolang is quick to follow suit, grabbing his own gems and fling them fairly hard towards the creature, most of his aim hitting it's mark.
The bull's already beginning to stir from it's shock as they attempt to freeze it, and Xiaolang shifts a bit more in front of her, instinctively acting as a shield in case the animal tries to make another rush towards them.]
Hurry! It's not going to be paralyzed for much longer!
