Derek likes a good parade. It's loud, fun, and entertaining. He is actually excited to be back in the city amoungst the hussle and bustle. He has situated himself in a good spot on the street to watch the parade and he has an iced mocha in one hand and a funnel cake in the other.

II. On the way to Pesgare
When Derek heard about Pesgare, he was interested in exploring it. However, taking a month of work destroyed any possible opportuniteis for vacation so he has to wait until a saturday to take the trip. Since it's a day trip, Derek only takes a small backpack with him with some survival supplies, but really he's travelling light for once. Derek has taken a seat out on the deck of the small fishing boat and is taking picture of the ocean. If you're sitting near him he's probably going to turn to you and start talking to you. You know, a way to pass the time?

III: Singing in Pesgare/ Derek embraces his musical theater past
Derek thinks Pesgare is a cute little harbor side town. He has been exploring the shops and is having a nice time. That is, until he sees a village couple pass by and they are holding hands. It is when he realizes that his ex would have enjoyed visiting this village with him. This might have been a great place to take her out on a date, but it's too late.
Derek makes his way to a path that over looks the ocean. Thinking about his ex reminds him all that Retrospec has taken from him. How lonely he's felt since he got the app last September. Still, last month reminded him that he can survive things he didn't think he could survive. He continues to standand look at the boats on the dock when rain starts to pour down, drenching him. As Derek stands there, drench in some very questionalbe looking rain, he starts to sing
