[ hinata accepts his medal without any fuss and slings it around his neck immediately, although he seems...way more into a funnel cake he bought, but like, if you really want to chat with him, ]
ii. snacks for the road
[ for the most part, hinata walks when he can. he's cheerful as ever and doesn't seem to mind any exercise or long distances, and he's eager to fall into step with anyone he recognizes - or even anyone he doesn't. he offers out an open pink cellophane bag. ]

a. shopping [ hinata's mostly drawn to the paintings and the handmade jewelry - he thinks izumi might like some of the paintings, so he's debating picking up something for his cousin, but the jewelry is more interesting for him (and maybe his sister). he's checking out a braided and beaded bracelet, curious. ]
I wonder how they did this twist here~? It's not something I've ever managed to do. Do you think they'll show me if I ask...?

a. melting [ suddenly, all of tsukasa and sena's complaints make sense...hinata's sweating and has clipped his hair up and back even more than usual, off his neck and out of his way. he's also gone down to just a pink tank top undershirt, his longer-sleeved sweater tied around his waist as he debates the merits of becoming a puddle of hinata aoi. like, meritless or not it seems like it might happen... ]

b. a BULL why this [ there's an undignified squeak as he's dragged into the ring but like, hinata at least just kind of looks wide-eyed and uncertain rather than worried. though maybe he should look more worried? as it is, he swirls the cape, and kind of
drops it to the side and dodges out of the way. he's not Super Speed Fast but he's at least agile and more interested in getting out of dodge than anything else ]
v. now for a change of mood
[ hinata likes colors, and he likes flowers. so of course he'd nosily investigated - although the colored mist that swept over him was blue. blue like water and sadness, and while he doesn't stop smiling it goes a little...
