[Still not taking his eyes off the beasts Sabo removes his backpack and crouches down to rifle through it as carefully as possible. There isn't much in there so it doesn't take him long to fish out the pouch where he keeps his treats, (there's always a sizable amount in there, because he's a ridiculous dog owner who spoils his dog). He stays low, feeling relatively confident in his ability to get up fast enough in case they end up having to move quickly, as he removes a couple of bone shaped cookies in a beige-brown color.]
Here goes nothing. [He tosses the treats in the direction of the chimeras, his voice subconsciously taking on a slightly cooing tone.] Go get your treat, girl.
[The treats are gobbled up eagerly and seem to go over well, but while the aggression level have dropped the creatures still don't exactly look willing to just let them pass. Sabo looks up at Robin with a grin and a feeling of optimism which might not yet be entirely warranted.]
