[ For her part, Kaguya has been trying to a) keep her stone safe and b) not think much about it otherwise. Having a physical piece of your soul is more than a little strange, and she doesn't want to think about the implications of the feelings she gets from it. She's learned not to ignore them, but that doesn't mean she wants to dwell, either.

So that question catches her attention. It's possible that the person asking isn't a Retrospec user, but the odds seem likely that this is about those same stones. It's a question she's wondered about herself.

I imagine it wouldn't be anything good. If you damage part of your soul, presumably you'd lose whatever that part of your soul represented.

[ In Retrospec speak, she's guessing that's likely a memory or some other sort of regain, but she's hoping she won't have to find out for sure either way. ]
