[ Helping Retrospec is not very high on Yosuke's priority list. But given recent events in his personal life, he's never really felt so ready for one of their vague tasks. Not that he wants to be recruited for anything, but exploring this map? Sure, fine. That works. He needs to work off some of his anxious energy, anyway.
He heads south. He likes the water and the thought of a beach, so why not? But he doesn't leave without prepping himself with Yu's golf club. Yes, a golf club because Yosuke's weapons are elsewhere.
It's not surprising that there are other likeminded people along the way. Or maybe he hit you up because he didn't want to be alone on this journey. Either way, Yosuke looks down at his phone with the map. ]
...It's kinda sketch just asking a whole bunch of strangers online to go literally build a road for you, isn't it?
B: Ditto...no, literally
[ There are all sorts of creepies and crawlies and prowlies and "no thank you"s out and around Recolle.
This fellow is definitely in the "no thank you" category. Extremely hostile and beefy looking, but it's keeping it's distance, strangely enough. Yosuke looks at his golf club and questions why he bothered to bring it at all.
Yeah he's pretty sure one it will be like poking someone on the shoulder. ]
Of all the things we could to run into...it had to be this guy?
[ Of course it's not readily apparently that maybe this enemy isn't what it seems. ]
Track 2
[ Part of their assessment? What the hell is actually going on?
Magical blue light that tells people where to go really doesn't help much, either. Yosuke is already having some serious trust issues with all these scenarios.
Of course there's a path that leads to the tunnels. Of course it's creepy in an entirely new way. More like a science-fictiony, too clean for the rest of the grossness underground sort of way.
And it goes on forever. ]
Does this have an end? At this point, I'm not even sure if I wanna find it.
[ Only good things could be waiting for them, right?? ]
Track 4
[ Yosuke is glad to have the sun again, but there's something wholly off. The sweet smell in the air should be making him feel better, shouldn't it? But he's been kind of...off. A little grumpy. A little lost in his thoughts.
Over the next few days, Yosuke does feel like he's been pricked by an annoying needle a few times. If you run into him on the bus, you may notice some disturbing heart-shaped pupils and he'll wonder why you're staring like that.
If you meet him on the street, you might reenact some terrible anime scene as you make eye contact and a tornado of cherry blossom petals swirl around each other. Which Yosuke may think is totally his fault due to his new windy powers.
If you're really unlucky, you'll end up on the wrong end of Yosuke's now intensified bad mood and he might snap at you for something ridiculous like cutting him off on the store or if he's late to school or work. In combination with the heart he's been carrying around with him, the nervous energy being worried over his family issues and Yu being off on a mission doesn't make him a pleasant person to be around.
Maybe he just needs a friend? ]
