[Long minutes drag by, threatening to stretch into half an hour before Fai stirs again. His breathing is regular and he doesn't seem to be in pain anymore, he just seems exhausted by whatever happened. Is happening.
When he does begin to stir he lets out a low groan--even though whatever caused the pain has subsided, some part of him remembers that episode very vividly. The groan cuts off into a sort of pathetic whimper and Fai turns toward Iwai's side of the bed out of newly-acquired habit, hoping to curl up with his boyfriend. He doesn't even open his eye yet, just tiredly mumbles:]
