That's what gets him to look up at Wesker, though he doesn't interrupt. He waits until Wesker's done and then some, to really process it. He understands better now, he thinks. The idea that they've always been like this and they've always been some level of close to their past selves isn't terrifying; it's not exactly the most comforting either, but it's easier to bear than to think that he's changing to become more like his past self.

His grip tightens again, but he'll loosen it a bit when he realizes what he's doing. He's definitely not letting go of Wesker's hand, though.]
