I want it to be real... but it's hard not to consider other possibilities given the 'memories' I've seen so far...

So... what else is traditional for Christmas? I know there is a lot of food.

For American Christmas? Kid, this is the first year I've celebrated the holiday in the twenty some odd years I've been here.

[Because he was very much a hermit until now.]

Hasn't Fai asked you to help out with the whole thing? Or did you just decorate?

This has been Fai's thing. I just stepped in to help decorate the outside of the house.

Jirou's mother also insisted on us having a real Christmas dinner, so I guess I will get to taste what it's like.

You staying for Fai's? Or are you just having dinner at Jirou's mom's place?

I... don't know. I mean, Jirou's mom definitely mentioned dinner, but...

[In social occasions, he just... follows Jirou around until things make sense somehow. This is usually how this works out.]

Me either. I'd be fine just staying home every day but Fai does enough of that with me already. Seems fair to get out there and be with him too.

Jirou likes showing me off, so when he wants me to come with him, I do.

And this isn't the same as being in a crowd, really. I like Fai.
