An attempt to prevent a potential catastrophic outbreak, whether caused by an unreality storm that proves fatal or a threat brought in by Retrospec's attempts to restore our worlds. I have strong reason to believe that some of these worlds contain such threats - it isn't a baseless assumption - and it would be remiss to not prepare for that sort of scenario if I have the opportunity to do so.
