[ When you enter the dream, you're engulfed by darkness until you hear a deep and unfamiliar voice. It speaks in a language you are most comfortable with. ]

CASINO
It's filled with a variety of gamblers from talking fish to actual people. Shadows are also gambling? But they're aggressive due to their mass losses. There are several elevators and it seems like the treasure is on the VIP level.

If you choose to enter the CASINO, you may appear outside of the structure or on the first floor in costume and mask. Akira will accompany you in his Joker outfit.

VELVET ROOM
Are you a prisoner? Or a keeper? You can stand behind the bars with Akira, withstand the abuse and rebel alongside him, or on the opposite side—ushered by two wardens and a man with an elongated nose to carry out discipline. Rehabilitation is important.

If you choose to enter the VELVET ROOM, you may appear inside or outside the cell. Your attire will change into prisoner wear or officer uniform respectively.

MEMENTOS (SPOILER)
In the city of Recolle, you notice there's something strange. People walk past the blood red rain and the towering skeleton pieces. The irrelevant become forgotten. The forgotten vanish. Is it your hand that's disappearing? Or is it Akira's?

If you choose MEMENTOS, you'll be in your normal attire or in your underwear. Whichever your character feels less attractive in if you want. Once again, Akira is beside you.

[ Akira has been having a hard time with his nightmares. Some of them he remembers bits and pieces (all useless), but he's thinking a jog in the ungodly time where the thick fog rolls in is a good idea? Unfortunately not... He ends up running away from one of these three tormentors in his pajamas. What's with his luck?

As he looks behind him, he crashes into someone. Sorry. ]

TWIN WARDENS (SPOILER)
Their names are unknown to you, but they're two girls with silver hair with a single golden eye (an eyepatch covers the other). As attendants of the Velvet Room, they have this ethereal aura to them, even menacing as they shoot various skills into the fog.

"Come back here, inmate! You can't hide forever!"

"You're only delaying the inevitable."

IMPERIOUS ANGEL (SPOILER)
An angel appears with an abstract body shape. Wings scaling wide and halo spinning over its head, it spreads its several hands that hold instruments. With the rise of the triangle, the angel rings it with a clear ding. In a matter of seconds, a flash of light magic strikes near.

"I am what humanity desires. Why oppose me?"

You can hear the sneer in its voice.

GOLD PIGGER
This silver piggy bank may seem cute, but it's also massively large and rolls without end. What does stop it from rolling are valuable items. Throw something expensive and it'll take a break to appraise it with a series of oinks. The one in control is a half-fly guy throwing out some mad rhymes.

"Yo yo yo! You think you can just walk into my neighborhood and disrespect me like that, dawg?"

[ Sorry, Elizabeth. They have to keep running? Even if you're in sandals, Akira is making sure there is enough distance where the twins can't land a direct hit. If she ever feels fatigue, he'll carry her if he needs to.

The next is actually a fire skill—inferno. These little girls aren't playing right now... It scorches and melts part of the concrete to their right.

[ You know he's like scared for his life and Elizabeth is memeing him before memes became a popular term? Akira is actually perplexed by what she's talking about and can't seem to get it due to the dire situation they're in.

[ Let's hide in the bushes? Like Heathens. When they duck, Akira can at least see them through the gaps. There they are... Twins from hell. Their outfits are unfortunately grey, but their eyes are a piercing gold.

"Justine! Did you see where they go?"

"No, Caroline. It seems like we've lost them—"

"Wh-what?! There's no way!"

"Master won't be pleased..." ]

[ Elizabeth thankfully doesn't mind being a heathen, though let the fact this is not her favorite hiding spot be known to all—she peeks through the gaps too and watches them. Two little girls in grey..?

Their gold eyes have her touching the side of her face self-consciously, though, and she keeps her voice as soft as a whisper when she speaks. ]

I'm aware they just said their names, however... Just who are they?

[ Maybe "what are they" would be better, but... ]

[ The twins huff and puff before they pass along, upset that they lost their target. However, there's still determination in their voices and in the way they throttled a mailbox with one whack of their baton.

Ouch. ]

... They're Velvet Room attendants—the ones that I remember, at least.

[ Smiling. Awkwardly. He didn't want to say, but it would be hard to explain otherwise. If he lies, then he would need to make more lies to cover it up. ]

[ .........oh. That's a little. Hm. ]

They're quite mean little things, aren't they.

[ She doesn't remember any little girls—there's... Theodore, and then that older woman, but those are the only two siblings she remembers her other self having. Are those girls part of whatever ramshackle family they have...? ]

Even my other self wasn't so... [ ...she was weird but she was not on a warpath, uh. ] You have my sympathies for such poor luck. I thought attendants were supposed to assist their guests though, not attempt to kill them.

[ In a bad way, it seems. From their little trip to the Velvet Rooms, it's obvious how the other protagonists are treated rather well. They seem to not have any bad memories about their time there and yet all Akira can remember is the feeling of exasperation, defiance, apathy, and only recently fear. ]

But they seemed surprised when that guy told them to execute me. [ The more he thinks about it, the more off it seems. ] That isn't the point—

[ "There you are!"

And their bush is lit on fire. ]

[ ...That guy? Their master, she'd assume, but Igor had never come off as the type of person who would sentence anyone to execution—

her thoughts are interrupted by the fire and she flinches away from it, grabbing Akira's arm to pull him up and away. Let's go, bud?! They're probably using some sort of Persona, and she already knows she can't fight other Persona users like this... How helpless, how hopeless. ]

We can't keep running. If they're anything like my other self, then they're not going to simply get tired from something like this. [ As unfortunate as it is. ] But I fear facing them head-on will end poorly for us, so... Any ideas?

[ They probably do, but it's not like he has any actual recollection of them fighting him. It's just pulled out of assumptions and what he has seen. Either way, he's dragged by Elizabeth from the burning bush... Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the voice of God that might grant them guidance.

To stall for time, he summons Yoshitsune to throw a ziodyne at the twins as they keep running. It lands, but they can only hear angry yelling from the loud twin. ]

We should probably dip into building... If they're appearing because of the fog, then they probably can't get to us if there isn't any?

[ Though... A lot of places are closed at this time. ]

Come to think of it, you're quite right... [ Ah, well, um... Let her think, let her think...

...not that she's any help when it comes to this; she's been here for so long and she still adventures gets lost around the city. Elizabeth's glancing up, trying to judge something, and... well, whatever, honestly. Better idea than none. ] Let's get onto a roof. Fog's rather heavy, so it tends to stay low.

[ She has a good idea! Akira starts looking towards the roof and notices that the fog is rather light up there, but.

... How are we going to get on the roof?

[ Climbing will leave them vulnerable. ]

I could play distraction while you climb, as they are mainly after you. [ liz please. ] But I don't have a way to defend myself, should they take a genuine interest in chasing me next, or getting me out of the way to get you...

[ ...Oh, wait, better idea— ]

The Velvet Room's door should be around here somewhere, shouldn't it? We could simply hide out there for a bit instead.

[ Even though she. doesn't really like the Velvet Room. It's safe though, so?? ]

[ You don't like the Velvet Room?? Akira is very much not keen on using it for reasons, but he'll swallow whatever opposition and Negative Feelings he has for it.

In the end, it's the best idea. ]

Sounds like we're going to jail.

[ And they're going to head to the glowing blue door that only a few can see. It's almost spooky just because of the month. ]
