A thousand times, thousand times [OPEN/CLOSED PROMPTS]
WHO: Elda, Toushiro, Silver, others? OPEN/SOME PROMPTS
WHERE: All over the place (see below)
WHEN: Throughout July
WHAT: Elda is working hard to fulfill her bingo cards through the month and spending time with her family!
WARNINGS: ??? None planned
[ There are open prompts in the body of this post, however I am open to arranging some closed/planned prompts for us! If you want to get those, please hit up my bingo overflow request here or contact me at
bigdamnhero ]
Elda's Bingo Card
I) Mask or Menace
[ you know what Elda found earlier today in Silver's room? a really fucking creepy mask. And you know what the 5' forty year old has decided? That's something that he must've gotten from Retrospec, and if it's something in his room... he can knock it off her bingo card by borrowing it! It also manages to block the sun out from her eyes fairly effectively which is nice.
And she...
Decides to knock out a second dare. So if you happen to be in her neighborhood, guess what? You've got a woman in a creepy mask making to chase you while making Velociraptor noises. That's not scary at all, right? ]
II) Twister or Danger
[ So the one dare (other than the center, which she's trying to work up the courage to ask Wesker out on) which has her the most perplexed is the Twister one. There's no way that this will be not embarrassing. So...
So she's just going to do it.
Heading to a public park, the woman lays out a twister mat and then puts up a sign which says: ]
[ There, that'll do. She'll be standing here in yoga attire with her hand on her hip, waiting for takers.
... Also sunglasses because it's day but hey we'll cross that bridge when we get there. ]
III) Business or Bust
[ And then... the T-shirts. She needs to sell five of these. Sooooo.... that means that she needs to get out there, make some, and then sell them. Eschewing any idea of making particularly complicated T-shirts or getting them professionally done, she instead simply takes three sharpies (black, pink, and what she assumes was blue or green) and makes an "I <3 Retrospec" set. The I is in black, as is Retrospec, the heart is of course pink, and then retrospec has a double layer of Gray over it.
She makes ten, and then sets up a little booth outside of a convenience store (that... might be breaking a law, oops) and... offering to sell these for seven dollars each. Want to buy this??? ]
Come on, take one. It's cheap.
IV) Wildcard or Overflow
[ Okay so in addition to the pre-planning above if you want to belatedly hit up the prompts I put up on the event post here on this log I'm okay with that too! I'll be overflowing my captchaed threads in over to consolidate them somewhere. There'll be a top heading for that. But if you want to do any other random thing I'm also good for that. ]

PLAY TWISTER, EARN $50

Spider climbing up this fence!
... Which she needs both hands for so she tries to slip the water through there before she goes up. ]
s2g charles i'm gonna kill dreamwidth i am so sorry
Because god forbid we utterly botch our dex roll tonight.]
rofl what did you lose this or somethimg
And is also really short.
So uh, while she does slip that though, this is a fair bit of a climb and while she makes it over okay, part of her pantsleg gets caught on the top of the fence and she - uh. Well it starts to rip, she starts, tries to fix it, and then falls down the back end of the fence. She catches herself, skids, and ends up in a loose handstand!
... before falling onto her chest from there.
... Hey, nailed it. ]
i sure as shit did, my guy
We're fucking awesome, Elda.]
...Are you all right?
Rofl so did you lose or drop the dragon one (no pressure if you did drop that)
[ She says sheepishly, dusting herself off as she gets onto her knees and reaches around for the things she pushed through the fence as best she could earlier.
Ugh. Her red eyes still gleam a little in the night, but ... she's also scraped off some skin on her cheek oops? ]
...i'm gonna kill dw, charles
That said, he'll get up and try to brush himself off as best he can, though it's a bit dark for him to see everything; thankfully he doesn't seem too banged up, save for his pride.]
Well, it's not as though I'm going to be winning any battles against your average stationary object anytime soon - good to know should my ego ever start getting the better of me, I suppose.
ROFL I JUST ASSUMED YOU WERE BUSY WITH MISSION STUFF MY BAD
[ It's still so surreal, being able to see this well in the moonlit darkness like this. ]
I MEAN. THAT TOO.
How good is your vision at the moment, now that you've mentioned it?
[Meanwhile, let him. Locate and pick up the supplies over here.]
WELL UP TO YOU NOW THEN.
[ Looking around... Oh, there we go. She points to some headstones about thirty or so feet away ]
Those are the graves of Thomas and Martha Woodrow, born 1946 and 1951, and both died in 1999.
[ There, that's about the limit... maybe? ]
...also thank you for the not-batman origin story in this cemetery, it's appreciated
Well, you can certainly consider me impressed.
Hahaha MMMMaaaarrrrttthhhhaaa WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME
[ It's just... who she is, now. ]

[No, really, that's sort of obscenely cool? He doesn't know.]
I can't say I'm fortunate enough to have gotten anything of the sort, personally. I've no idea if that's going to change, but for now I'll just live vicariously, I suppose.

[ Alright, they've got the stuff, they're standing! Let's go find a suitable place to set up the tea party! ]

I can imagine - although I don't know how much I'd mind that, assuming it didn't completely interfere with my work in some way.
[...Says the guy who wears sunglasses constantly anyway and rarely leaves the house unless he's somehow obligated.]
no subject
Well, for you, it might not actually change much. On my end, I've replaced all the lights in my house with red lights to make it easier on me.
no subject
[And possibly a better solution than he would have come up with, who knows.
...Where exactly are we doing this, it feels vaguely tacky to just set up on somebody.]
no subject
...
But no, she's thinking- ]
Here?
[ Below this weird big angel? statue which is totally clearly not a pegasus ass or a gryphon? ]
no subject
[That looks acceptable and like something that won't be knocked over by a desperate sports anime protagonist, so...
Setting up here it is.]
no subject
That's what I was thinking.
