Bingo/Other June Stuff Catchall! [OPEN]
WHO: Kurt Wagner and Yooouuuu?!
WHERE: All around town!
WHEN: From July 3rd onwards... pretty much a catchall for the first half of the month
WHAT: Kurt's adventures as he attempts to fill out his bingo card and also has to deal with having a weird power, different from the weird power he was already getting used to.
WARNINGS: None yet, will update if necessary
A. You Know the Rules
[Kurt Wagner goes door to door, with a fancy-looking book of lyrics in hand. And he's also wearing a Santa hat. Because might as well go for full ridiculousness, right?
He'll knock on pretty much anyone's door, whether he knows them or not. And once they open? He'll sway in imitation of Rick Astley himself and begin to sing.]
We're no strangers to love...
You know the rules, and so do I!
[Yes, of course he's singing "Never Gonna Give You Up". Except that he's singing it in a style that actually sounds more like this song.
Of course, your character doesn't have to be the one answering the door. They can join if they want!Or try to file a complaint]
B. Classic Rock
[Kurt has made his way out to the lake located within Recolle Woods. And he's ready to practice some stone-throwing!
He picks up a rock with a smirk and tries throwing it right at the water! ...Except it proceeds to sink in without bouncing once.
After a few similar tries, Kurt groans and pulls at his hair in frustration.]
Aw, c'mon! It's always so easy on tv!
C. Role Models
[Even with all of the running around he's doing for this damn bingo game, Kurt still makes time for his first modeling photoshoot. And so, one morning you can find him outside a building in Tisse where modeling shoots happen. For once, Kurt is dressed in clothes that seem genuinely trendy, and he's even wearing a belt! But as the shoot's time draws closer, he looks at his reflection in his iphone and frets loudly]
Oh man, oh man... Come on, Kurt. You can do this. You can do this!
D. Wildcard
[Have something else in mind, or want to use Kurt for some different bingo slots, or just want to use some set-ups from the event log? Kurt can turn up pretty much anywhere around the city, so feel free to come up with a prompt, and/or contact me if you'd like to plot something out! My plotting comment is here and you can also find me on plurk at
goreo!
I will also include some starter comments for some of the pre-plotted bingo squares and other any other closed prompts!]

Lucy had been...frazzled, let's say. All day. The teenager had run off to the woods to get some quiet space to think, and—weird, was that a stone hitting the water? Where was that coming fr—
No sooner did the idle curious thought appear in her head than Lucy left the ground again, reappearing over the surface of the water with a little bamf noise again.
Not so little was the splash. Or the shouted cursing.]
no subject
The noise and the smoke captivate Kurt's attention more than anything. That's... that's his! There's no mistaking it. He never thought he would miss it this much. Does she have a similar power, or...
Kurt tries to shout into the lake.]
Hey! Um... Are you alright?!
no subject
What does it— [sputter] —look like?!
[That cranky attitude is as distinctive as her hair, at least.]
no subject
But the girl does look familiar now that he has a better look at her. He's sure that she's the girl who was stuck in that revolving door with him once.]
Here... Let me help!
[He tries to extend a hand to help.]
no subject
There's "reasonable skepticism" and then there's Lucy.]
I'm fine.
[And also drenched. The teenager shook her head in a vain attempt to get her bangs out of her face.]
no subject
You sure? That isn't exactly a swimming pool.
[A hesitant pause.]
And... that wasn't exactly a cannonball you just did.
no subject
...no, it wasn't.
[There was no point pretending like there hadn't been witnesses.]
no subject
A - a very poofy kind.
[Just like the kind he was able to do until recently. He knows Jade was able to teleport too, but hers didn't work the same way.]
no subject
You know how it works?
[She started slogging out of the shallows right for him. Maybe not covered in seaweed, but definitely with her shoulders slouched like some vintage movie monster trudging out of the lake.]
no subject
Y-yeah, kinda. Well, I'm not sure if I get the 'how', but... I used to experience something a lot like that. Until recently.
no subject
How do you make it stop?!
no subject
I- I don't know! I think I was kinda getting the hang of it, then suddenly... it just wasn't happening anymore! [And he had found himself doing a different odd thing instead.]
no subject
She's not very good at being patient when she's wound up like this.]
Like what? What did you do?
[She shook his collar slightly and only once, for now.]
no subject
I- I have no clue! Maybe... maybe that funky fortune cookie had something to do with it?!
no subject
And what happened next? It broke, didn't it?
[Okay, so...Lucy still wasn't going crazy and imagining things. This time. Hopefully.
Or he was saying that to make her stop shaking him, one or the other.]
no subject
no subject
I did.
[Lucy didn't let go, clinging to his shirt like she'd found something to anchor herself to.]
What's your name.
[It wasn't a question.]
no subject
Kurt Wagner.
[He meekly tries raising one of his hands in a wave.]
no subject
...that teenager twisting her (his) arm and crushing the watch there could have been any number of the bullies she dealt with, though.
"What are you, some kind of rat?"
She shook her head and finally let go, but the images and sounds wouldn't leave.]
Lucy.
[The girl didn't look away from Kurt, though her glare wasn't as severe.]
no subject
[His eyes widen as he recognizes that name from faint whispers he's been hearing. And he thinks of the odd and disturbing flashes of memory that he's been receiving.
Backing away as he's freed, he unwittingly causes a pair of translucent hands to manifest near him, but they fade away so quickly.]
You - you're.... familiar!
no subject
[Lucy's gaze immediately snaps to the distortions in the air, and she takes half a step forwards. Those were—hands. She was certain.]
That's mine!
no subject
[He blinks and looks around as he wonders what she could be talking about.]
What's yours? [But, wait... if she has that teleporation that's just like his...] Y-you don't mean... the ghost hands?!
no subject
[Lucy pointed at where the hands—the vectors—used to be.]
I'm supposed to do that!
no subject
[he grips at his head as he realizes it.]
Oh man... We're totally having a freaky Friday! That's - that's what this is!
...and I forgot to hit enter on this one too fff
[She couldn't believe she just said that, but so it was. That thing had been bright blue, like the-
-stupid Retrospec logo. Of course it was.
Lucy grumbled and dropped her hand down, rubbing at her temples.]
...now what?
fff it's all good
