Bingo/Other June Stuff Catchall! [OPEN]

WHO: Kurt Wagner and Yooouuuu?!
WHERE: All around town!
WHEN: From July 3rd onwards... pretty much a catchall for the first half of the month
WHAT: Kurt's adventures as he attempts to fill out his bingo card and also has to deal with having a weird power, different from the weird power he was already getting used to.
WARNINGS: None yet, will update if necessary

A. You Know the Rules

[Kurt Wagner goes door to door, with a fancy-looking book of lyrics in hand. And he's also wearing a Santa hat. Because might as well go for full ridiculousness, right?

He'll knock on pretty much anyone's door, whether he knows them or not. And once they open? He'll sway in imitation of Rick Astley himself and begin to sing.]

We're no strangers to love...
You know the rules, and so do I!

[Yes, of course he's singing "Never Gonna Give You Up". Except that he's singing it in a style that actually sounds more like this song.

Of course, your character doesn't have to be the one answering the door. They can join if they want! Or try to file a complaint]

B. Classic Rock

[Kurt has made his way out to the lake located within Recolle Woods. And he's ready to practice some stone-throwing!

He picks up a rock with a smirk and tries throwing it right at the water! ...Except it proceeds to sink in without bouncing once.

After a few similar tries, Kurt groans and pulls at his hair in frustration.]

Aw, c'mon! It's always so easy on tv!

C. Role Models

[Even with all of the running around he's doing for this damn bingo game, Kurt still makes time for his first modeling photoshoot. And so, one morning you can find him outside a building in Tisse where modeling shoots happen. For once, Kurt is dressed in clothes that seem genuinely trendy, and he's even wearing a belt! But as the shoot's time draws closer, he looks at his reflection in his iphone and frets loudly]

Oh man, oh man... Come on, Kurt. You can do this. You can do this!

D. Wildcard

[Well, Kurt can't argue with the beef he has with the dog's owner.

But he can taunt Yuri as he skates ahead! He turns his head and laughs.]

What's wrong? Aren't you enjoying eating my dust?

[Except then as he looks ahead again, he ends up having to swerve quickly to narrowly dodge a pole, cutting off his momentum.]

( Yuri laughs briefly as he catches up and temporarily overtakes Kurt, having finally found a rhythm that works as long as he's not too concerned with the scraped up state of his palms or what he figures has happened to one thigh. oh well. he's had worse. )

Whose dust, Fuzzy?

( getting close to the halfway point, where Yuri strikes upon the next challenge: turning around in a relatively narrow space to then switch direction and momentum. how does he handle this?

skating up to the railing to plant his hands on it and leap, using the toe stop to bounce up and around, switching grip to come slamming back down on the ground facing the opposite direction. game on! )

Hey, no fair! [He says as if prevailing against him in general is against the rules. He trusts his best to push himself forward, and then they reach the railing.

Kurt turns himself around at the railing, but in a much less graceful manner, costing him even more of the lead. But even so, he presses forward in giving pursuit.]

It's not over yet!!

[catsudon]

( Yuri laughs, just briefly, since he agrees: this isn't over yet. It's not a sure win, and he's built for speed in particular things, not as a whole. It's even worse when there's that darn dog again, this time running at his side with an owner calling out and a leash dragging along the ground as the dog keeps pace with him and Kurt, barking, barking, so excited. )

Heel? Stop!

( the dog instead leaps up and at Yuri, who manages to barely avoid the crash, reflexively reaching out to catch the dog and ending up with a burning handful of leash.

and then getting pulled hard to the side toward Kurt, the dog continuing its happy rampage. such fun! so much play time! )

[Kurt can't help but laugh more at this one, with the sudden arrival of the dog.]

Ha! I guess we have a new contender!

[He wants to take this chance to get ahead, but at the same time, it looks like there's a rest that Yuri and/or the dog could end up colliding into him too, so he instead focuses on trying to move away from them.]

Easy there, my friend!

( Yuri manages to yank on the dog's leash hard enough to veer also away from Kurt, but then the dog's taking off running and looking back and yipping and the owner is making sad noises about Benji Krishna (the dog, apparently) and Yuri's desperately trying to keep up. )

I thought leash laws were supposed to help prevent shit like this? Bad dog! Very bad dog!

( ecstatic, the dog keeps running on, though he veers to the side again and near yanks Yuri off their chosen runway to a side street. )

[Kurt guffaws.]

I guess these laws are really off the leash!

[Kurt keeps on skating on, once more feeling conflicted about whether or not to take advantage of Yuri's dog problems. Ultimately, he opts to slow down a bit while that gets straightened out.]

Need a hand?

I'd settle for a dog treat? Heel!

( happily... the dog starts to slow down by immediately turning and leaping back at Yuri, who manages to catch him in his arms and fumblingly keep skating MUCH MORE SLOWLY WITH ARMS FULL OF DOG )

I'm a cat person. A cat person, I'm freaking telling you! Stop licking me!

[He can't help but snort and laugh some more at Yuri's predicament.]

Sorry buddy, but sometimes you just don't get your purr-fect match!

[Still, he decides to try to spare him some mercy. He slows down to grab a loose stick and tries to throw it to the side while shouting to the dog.]

Fetch, boy!!
