[ In Recolle Park, Souji has somehow managed to convince Mako to come out carolling with him to an entire public audience (that being whoever decided to stroll through the park). This should be good. ]

With enough practice, you'll become the next Rick Astley, I'm sure of it. And there's no better way to practice than with a live audience.

Practicing is at home in front of a mirror, or in the shower. But you and me, pal, we're caroling in July.

[ and here they go! will they be good? will they be bad? will people stop and cheer and throw money into the little hat that souji put down earlier? or will they stop and boo and throw rocks at them?? what is their fate?! ]

[ One person stops, then two, then four, then eight, and eventually, they get an entire crowd. Despite the terrible choice in song, their harmony in singing makes up for it. ]

[ Look at all the quarters they're getting! The cheers! The fame! ]

[ Souji just looks at Mako and quietly asks if they should sing another song as soon as they finish with this one. ]

[what an insanely random thing they're good at. He pauses and then nods. Hopefully-- he and Souji know another good song? But it can't hurt.

If they're going 80s feel here...

The only other 80s song he really knows the words to is Don't Stop Me Now. Welp.]

[ Mako has good choices in songs because that is another song that Souji knows by heart. He gets pretty into singing it too but look, how long are these two going to keep on singing? Because once they finish this, Souji's going to pick "What is Love" after. ]

[ Can Mako keep up? ]

[this is... surprising. he's not used to this. he was not mentally prepared to have fans and dollars thrown his direction for a smash hit in the park with Souji.

He glances at him, like.

Did you know this was going to happen? Because my mind's blown.

Maybe he just had that little faith in the both of them.

For now, though, providing the harmony to What is Love is easy. Real easy.

Especially since he doesn't really know the words that well.]

[ Souji just glances back at him with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He couldn't have expected all these fans. He didn't think they'd tank but he also didn't think they'd have like $20 in coins and bills in their little hat. ]

[ And once they finish, everyone starts clapping and Souji takes a big bow. ]
