Chloe attempted a smile, but it was never especially easy for her to be completely comfortable in the company of one of the clergy. She set it down so that he could look at it and the look of puzzlement on her face was painfully obvious.

"This was sent to me in the mail by Retrospec. I thought, perhaps, a member of the clergy might know something of old books... though it has no words, so I do not understand."
